Tomorrow's a day off, right smack in the middle of the week, so now I'm all kinds of outta whack. Today felt like Friday, but it's not. And Thursday will feel like Monday. Friday will probably feel like pork.
Because I'm that de-whacked.
But enough of these superfluous <b> tags.
THINGS I'VE GOT
1An insight with a really fabulous Greek name to go with its astounding array of dramatic possibilities, wheee! I'm concealing my excitement down here in this footnote so as not to jinx things, but: this is the kind of realization that opens a path of clarity through what had previously been a thicket of disconnected scenes, jumbled plots, and thematic discord. Mmmm...inspiration. Better than doughnuts.

THINGS I'VE GOT
- 12 ounces of organic espresso from Caribbean Coffee, purchased and ground about a dozen feet from the drum they roasted it in this morning
- A shiny new insight into my novel's narrator1
- A whole day to do nothing but write and engage in writing-related activities

What, pray tell, are "writing-related activities"?
That'd be editing, revising, researching POD, gymnastics, etc. Also reading. Unfortunately, because the goddess of scheduling hates me with lava-like passion and precision, my plan didn't go as expected.
I see. Well, I at least hope the unexpected involved sparkly things, fancy liqueurs, and hand puppets.
